What is Temple?

A Temple is a sacred container (outer and inner) where intimacy, presence and connection are explored with reverence, consent and deep awareness. It is a container where participants are invited to slow down, listen inwardly and meet themselves, others and the divine.

A Temple is held with clear agreements around consent, boundaries and personal responsibility. There is no expectation to do anything specific or engage in a certain way or even engage with others at all; participants are encouraged to listen to their own needs and only engage in ways that feel safe for them.

What to expect:

  • a softly guided, well-held group experience led by facilitators

  • a clear introduction to the space, shared agreements and consent practices

  • practices and tools to support emotional regulation and personal sovereignty

  • opportunities for gentle connection, reflection or communication, always by choice

  • an inclusive space welcoming people of all genders, sexual orientations and backgrounds

  •  this is a soft, pants-on temple with no nudity or physical sexual interaction

About the Event:

In this temple we attune to the energy of Winter.
The season that calls life to slow down and turn innward.

Nature slows.
Tree juices retreat to their roots.
Animals rest, hibernate, or move with care.
The earth appears still, even barren,
Yet beneath the surface, life is gathering, reorganising, preparing.

Winter is the womb of the year.

As nature withdraws, so have human beings throughout time
honouring rhythms of rest and renewal.
Our bodies ask for more warmth and closeness.
Our nervous systems seek moments to soften,
To pause and to be held,
To feel instead of act or perform.

This is an invitation to explore the mystery of winter together
To release the grip of effort and hold ourselves and each other in care.
In this gathering of souls we will honour our softness.
We will dedicate space and time to the cultivation of nourishment
Explore ways we can provide safety to our selves,
ways we can support each other with simple touch,
communicate our needs and simplify how we provide support.

As the evening unfolds and our bodies wishfully settle into parasympathetic calm,
As nourishment flows through our touch and our relating
As life force builds through containment instead of stimulation
We gradually step into an explorative co-creative open space,
Where self care is our pillar.

In this fertile field for soft connections
We may find and welcome Eros.

Eros, the Life Force, that arises quietly, relationally, in its own time.
That emerges from silence and deep presence

Here, where less is more.
